Welcome to The Coffee Rush

Welcome to The Coffee Rush Café in the beautiful seaside village of Shaldon. We were proud to be a finalist in Devon Life’s Best Coffee Shop & Tearoom for three years running!

Opening hours

  • Monday to Thursday — 8am – 5pm
  • Friday & Saturday — 8am – 11pm
  • Sunday & bank holidays — 9am – 5pm

On Friday and Saturday nights the coffee shop changes character, becoming a welcoming little wine bar serving a menu of light bites and canapé plates.

The Coffee Rush is truly a one-off — outstanding coffee, velvety-smooth hot chocolate and homemade cakes, all in one of Devon’s prettiest seaside villages.

Do I need to book a table?
Daytimes are mostly walk-in, but weekends and the Friday/Saturday wine bar do get busy — we’d always recommend booking a table or giving us a call to be sure of a spot.
