The centrepiece of our weekend evenings is the sharing board: a generous canapé plate built for the middle of the table, made to pick at slowly over a bottle of wine and good company.
Boards vary with the season, but expect a mix of cured meats, cheeses, marinated bits and pieces, warm bread and a few little treats from the kitchen. Great for two, better for four, and a lovely way to spend a Friday or Saturday night in Shaldon. Booking is recommended — reserve your table.
